Large, glowing blooms on tall stems: the amaryllis is the queen of winter flowers and a true symbol of Christmas. Buy amaryllis online and send them as a bouquet.
Few flowers say Christmas quite like the amaryllis. Its large, trumpet-shaped blooms open one by one and bring colour to the darkest days of the year. That makes an amaryllis bouquet a popular gift during Advent, at Christmas and well into January. It's perfect for family, friends or as a thank-you to clients.
Red amaryllis is the classic choice: warm, festive and perfect with fir and touches of gold. White amaryllis looks elegant and wintry, especially alongside eucalyptus, white roses or cotton stems. There are also varieties in pink, salmon and striped two-tone shades. Learn more about amaryllis colours and meanings in our amaryllis flower guide.
Amaryllis have hollow stems and need only a little water. Five to ten centimetres in the vase is enough. Cut the stems straight and change the water every two days. With good care, amaryllis often bloom for up to two weeks.
